The Simultaneous Occurrence of Acute Appendicitis and Bowel Perforation in Taenia Infection: A Case Report

Background: Appendicitis is most likely due to obstruction of the appendiceal lumen. Parasitosis an unusual cause and in specific, Taenia Saginata a very rare appendicitis, even more so small bowel perforation. Teiniosis usually asymptomatic process but greater load or migration adult form may complicate some cases.
